We are delighted with both the process and outcome on this job. Mike is a consummate professional. He is knowledgeable and makes compelling recommendations. He was very patient with us and helpful as we wrestled with decisions about the color of the siding and window-framing options. He responded to email queries within 24 hours. His team called to let us know when they would be here and stayed on schedule. He and every member of his team were punctual, polite, and professional. Mike provided a clear and detailed quote for the work and upheld his end of the contract we signed. The price was in the same range as two competing estimates we received and seems quite reasonable given the intensive labor involved and the fact that we went with James Hardie fiber cement siding. The quality of the work is outstanding. The house went from shabby to stunning in one week thanks to Mike and his team. We would absolutely ask Mike to do more work for us. He will be the person we call if and when we need to replace our roof. This is the best experience with a contractor we have had and we cannot think of any ways this job could have gone better.

Weatherguard provided a fine experience from pre-contract discussions through completion. This relatively complex project ran like clockwork with well coordinated deliveries, punctual and diligent workers, no interruptions, and no wasted motion. Incidental carpentry repairs to exposed wood were performed as needed and there was no appearance of corner-cutting. Proper attention was paid to daily and final cleanup. Michael Kaganek proved to be trustworthy and communicative and was a pleasure to do business with. Robert provided excellent onsite supervision, an amiable customer interface, and real-time responses to issues as they arose. We are very pleased with the final result and would not hesitate to use Weatherguard again.

Service was performed with care, high quality and cleaned up when finished. Very happy with the attention to detail and follow through with specifics of the job. Michael personally tended to a special need before installing the gable wrap or the fascia. Damage happened during the last wind storm and needed a bird nest to be removed and area disinfected (once birds were gone for the season). Work was performed as discussed without need for reminders or oversight. Highly recommend.

I have been having issues with a leak in my bay window for a number of years now. To date, I have had many providers come out to my house to try and find the where the water is getting in. I had roofers, masons and window specialists come out. All found nothing and did nothing, so I was left to deal with the issue myself. I sealed around my windows, but the leak persisted. I then sealed the brick, but still had the leak. Finally, I did more water testing and found a general area where the water was getting in. I used Angie’s list to request appointments with a number of companies and Weatherguard was one of them. About half responded within the first 24 hours (some after 5 days!) and Mike was among the first. I scheduled about 5 appointments. Only two of those who showed up actually seemed to know what they were talking about, and Mike was one of them. Some showed up without a ladder, but carrying binoculars!!! Mike took the time to assess the situation and came up with a game plan. He was thorough and professional. I received his estimate and contract the same day and services were performed earlier today, within the same week. Mike and his crew showed up right on time and did a fantastic job. They fixed the issue quickly and professionally and cleaned up after themselves. This was probably the best experience that I have ever had with someone doing work on my house. Mike is a true professional and I would use him again in a heartbeat. Will also recommend him to others. Thank you!
